The Queen "E" turns 7 and goes to Chicago

Here are some highlight pictures from Queen "E"s birthday and trip to Chicago and the American Girl Store. This year for her birthday Ken and I planned a trip to Chicago and the American girl store. She knew we were going somewhere but didn't know where until she opened her gifts.

We left for Chicago Friday morning with no definite plans for Friday. After we got there and checked into our hotel we went to the Searts tower and then to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. On Saturday we went to the American Girl Store where the Queen "E" picked out her doll, did a little shopping and had her portrait taken with her doll. We had lunch at the American Girl Cafe and then headed home. It was a quick weekend filled with new experiences and lots of time together.
